Diabetes Alert Day is March 26
In observance of American Diabetes Association Alert Day® (March 26, 2013), encourage people to find out if they are at risk for type 2 diabetes by taking the Diabetes Risk Test and talking to their family about their family’s history of diabetes. Use NDEP’s partner toolkit for resources to support your Diabetes Alert Day outreach efforts!
Join Us in Promoting Diabetes-Related Messages During National Kidney Month and National Nutrition Month
March also brings other important health observances – National Kidney Month and World Kidney Day (March 14), and National Nutrition Month – which provide opportunities to promote diabetes-related messages. Visit NDEP's March promotions calendar for NDEP resources you can use to help promote these observances in your community.
