Weight-Control Information Network (WIN)
ChooseMyPlate.gov from the USDA illustrates the five food groups that are the building blocks for a healthy diet and provides tools for diet/calorie tracking and information on weight management, physical activity, and healthy eating. Some materials available in Spanish.
U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)
This program brings face-to-face, small-group sessions to life through conversation maps. With the help of a trained facilitator, participants focus on the health information most relevant to them and relate it to their own experiences. At the end of each session, participants create a workable plan for using what they learn to drive meaningful behavior change in their lives. Training for facilitators is available.
